What Is Triberr and How I Increased My Website Traffic in 30 Days

So What is Triberr?
So What is Triberr?

So What is Triberr?

Triberr is an online blogging community using social media like Twitter, Google+, Facebook, Stumbleupon and many others. Millions of bloggers join similar groups or tribes and share each other’s blogs and content.  Bloggers on Triberr provide comments (called syndication) to your blog as well.

I recently was introduced to Triberr through a Mastermind group companion. It is definitely a tool that many people don’t know about and I’m excited about it because I saw a tremendous increase in 30 days in my web traffic, my comments, my Twitter following and my tweets!

So it’s like this. My mastermind group started a tribe. Each of us is on Twitter. Each of us have Twitter followers, some more than others. For instance, my twitter followers were around 8700 (at that time). Each of the other members in our group brought our Twitter reach to a total of about 29,000 – that’s adding up all of our twitter followers!  That means anything we posted to our blogs would reach 29,000 people! WooHoo!

Now the goal of Triberr is to get with others, join their tribes (usually of like interest and similar niches) and everyone agrees to share and syndicate your blog. As you share your blog (the tool has a pretty easy setup for this), your fellow tribemates go to work sharing and syndicating!  Can we say ‘Toooo Easy?!”  Yes we can.  In your tribes, each time a tribe member posts a blog post, a tweet is sent by all the tribe members. Isn’t that awesome? This is one of the fastest ways for beginner and experienced bloggers to share their content with others and reach a wider audience.

What Triberr Looks Like!
What Triberr Looks Like!

Now remember in my first tribe, our reach was about 29,000. That was early January. Now I am in 16 tribes, 6 weeks later, 326 tribemates sharing my content and my reach is 1,425,327!  Awwwsummm! 🙂

Now you do have to learn the in’s and out’s of Triberr like you have to be invited into a tribe or you can request an invitation into a tribe of interest. You will receive posts in your stream which you can approve which automatically sends out tweets about your blog. There are tutorials within Triberr but the best thing is Triberr is FREE! Yep, I said it! It’s Free and it can’t get any better than that.

So here are some tips on how to increase your reach, drive traffic to your site, share your content with a ridiculous amount of people and obtain social proof for your blog. I got busy by doing the following and you can do the same:

  1. Search for Tribes of Interest (mainly in your niche market).
  2. Request to join those tribes. You can also search for people who are looking to join tribes. Reach out to those people and start interacting with them.
  3. Start Your Own Tribe and invite others to join you.
  4. Start sharing other people’s blogs by Approving their posts and sending them out to Twitter and other social media.
  5. Use Your Twitter Account. Many people don’t know what to do with Twitter, how to grow their followers, how to interact with twitter followers, etc.  If you need help learning how to use Twitter, reach out to me, I can help you with that.  But the bottom line is ‘it’s social media’ and attraction marketing!  Use the same social skills you’re already using in other social media platforms.
  6. Go to your @Connect link on your Twitter page or use Triberr and find out who is tweeting your blogs.  Thank them. But don’t just thank them – engage them in conversation just like you do on Facebook. A friend said the other day she had to say ‘Thank you’ to about 10 people. The problem is you need to engage them as well. Ask them questions, start up conversations. People just want to make contact.  Make friends.  It pays off – trust me!
  7. Tribber-1Follow new people on Twitter who are in your tribes or in your Triberr stream.  They will most likely follow you back, especially if you are in the same niche.  This increases your Twitter following as well.
  8. Spend about 15 minutes a day Triberr approving and sharing posts.  Spend another 15 minutes on Twitter thanking or interacting with other people in your @Connect link.  Spend your final 5-10 minutes checking other people you may want to follow and follow them.  It doesn’t take much time if you schedule what you need to do during your day.

Tribber-2I found that my tweets went up in this time frame and my followers also started to rise. As you interact with people; as more people see your content; as you prove to be a reliable source working consistently with them toward the same goal…people will flock to you!

Check my charts to the right and left of my followers and tweets in the last 6 weeks and you can see a direct correlation to growth. Triberr has had this incredible impact for me!

Hopefully this information has been helpful to you.  Triberr is a way to drive people to your website, grow your twitter following and work with a group of supportive people with like- minds and goals.  I’ve seen tremendous growth in 30 days as you can see above!  It’s a free service and works.  Check it out and see for yourself.

I’d love to know what you think or if you have any questions.  If you need more information send me an email with the Contact form or subscribe in the blue box on the right. I’m here for you.

Regards, and have a great day!

    Hi Barbara,

As you know I am also in Triberr and it is definitely helping me to get new followers, and meet new people. I am experiencing all of the benefits you mentioned. I received an email that Triberr has made improvements on their site. I checked it out and it’s exciting. They have made 6 new improvements so this is a fantastic time to join. The new roll-out is February 15. Triberr is great for beginners and seasoned bloggers. I’m enjoying the opportunity to “expand my circles.” Thanks for sharing your very informative article.

Hey Raena. Sorry it’s taken me so long to answer. Actually didn’t see this message. I apologize! I’m so grateful to Adrienne Smith for turning us on to Triberr. Best tool in a long time that I’ve seen that works and does what it’s supposed to do. Loving that people come together as a cohesive unit to help each other. And now that the changes are coming, I can see nothing but better things coming! I’m actually surprised that so many people don’t know about it. It’s been a Godsend for me. Hoping you great success as we build our following. Have a great week.

Well I do love me some Triberr Barbara so you KNOW I’m in the circle of love.

You are right, with every new service there will be a learning curve but once you do you’ll definitely see the benefit. Now I’ve been with Triberr since the beginning and I could probably do a much better job of increasing my reach as well but right now I’m in front of a little over 5 million followers right now so that’s not shabby and Twitter is my #1 source for referral traffic with the majority of that being from Triberr.

It does work and it’s free so if people are serious about increasing their traffic they need to take your advice and join.

Great share and I love the new revisions that are coming too. Very exciting.

I thought so when you shared it with us Adrienne. I have seen such a big difference, it’s amazing and I love it! Wow, 5M ain’t bad at all. Now to turn that traffic into referrals, that’s the hard part but I know if you can do it, we can do it. And I’m waiting holding my breath to see what’s new that’s coming up. See I’ve only been on it for about 6 weeks. Improvements should help me expand my reach even more! Can’t wait til the 18th! Thanks for sharing such a great gift with us!

    Hey Barbara,

As you know, being part of the same “tribe” in tribber, I’m in it too. I do have to check out some technical difficulties I am having. I’m sure I pushed the wrong button or something, but being there is a new email in my box today that there are a little changes going on, I’m sure I can straighten it out.

I have been invited to a few tribes and joined. Now I can reach over a million people. Thanks for sharing this, because this stuff really works!

Can’t wait for the new stuff and see what they’ve got for us to improve it even more! Let me know if you have any questions. I don’t have all the answers but may know. 🙂 Come on let’s do it! Aim – 2M? 🙂

      Hi Donna,

Somehow you ended up with 2 Triberr accounts. I deleted the extra one which was probably causing some issues.

Also, your feed was entered 3 times which can result in some weirdness. I removed extra feeds and added the correct feed to your config.

In short, your next post should go out via your tribes and you will see a significant difference in social mentions, traffic, and overall goodness 🙂

    Hey Barbara,

This sounds like a wonderful service. I am familiar with tribes and used to belong to a few, until they started charging. I’m glad to hear this is still a free service. Your results are fantastic! I had not heard of Triberr before. Thanks so much for making us aware of this service.

Hopefully we can connect on their site. I love what you are doing here and It would be great to share your articles!

    Thanks again,

Hey Richard. So nice of you to stop by. Thank you. I’m glad you found the article useful. Yes Triberr is still free although there is an upgrade but it’s so reasonable in price, it’s almost free! 🙂 But the free service works just fine! If you decided to try it and I urge you to do so, let me know if you need anything or have any questions about the setup and getting started. Try it, you’ll like it for sure.
Have a good week and yes, we can connect on Triberr, Twitter or Facebook. See you soon.

Hey Barbara. Thanks so much for this post. I’m one of those who has never figured out the best way to use Twitter and therefore just don’t spend any time on it other than to send out my own Tweets sometimes. Have never gotten into the interaction aspects of it, which I know can be very valuable if done right. Would love to connect with you one-on-one and maybe you can give me a little guidance and encouragement in this area. Tribberr looks like it could be a great tool.

I joined Triberr late last year but I didn’t find the setup very user friendly. Last week after reading some other reviews I decided to give it another try. I created my own tribe and joined one other one. I lam looking forward to whatever the new changes are in the hopes that it is easier to navigate and I am excited to find new tribes to join too.

Yes I thought the same that the setup was not that easy and I probably would not have continued if it wasn’t for a friend walking us through the setup, but once that was done it was cool. I’m glad you decided to give it another try. I think you’ll find it worth it for sure. I surely did! The new changes I think will also make an impact for us. Not sure if they changed the setup to make it more user friendly but it’s still worth it to figure out. Look for tribes in your niche which will be the most effective for you. In my next article, to be published this week, you will see how you can save time as well. There are other tools I use for time management especially when it comes to organizing my day to be the most effective with Triberr and Twitter. Triberr is a part of that process as your tribes will do a lot of the work by getting your content out there. Don’t worry, you will be in a number of tribes in no time. It didn’t take that long. I don’t know what it was before, but I love it now and find that it’s working great for me. In addition, there is still a personalized touch as I know personally of someone who had some issues but wasn’t really aware that they were issues and Dino stopped by and personally took care of her account, unsolicited. Personally, that put Triberr and it’s support at the top of the list for me. That’s almost unheard of in this fast-paced environment called internet blogging. Anyway, give it a try again. And if you need anything, please let me know.

After reading this article I signed up for Triberr yesterday. Now one day later the site is saying that the domain name has expired. Either there is something very wrong with the site or the people who run it are very unprofessional. Has anyone heard anything and know if this issue will be resolved?

    • says

Hi Guy. If you go to Triberr now you will see that it is all fixed. I wasn’t aware there was a problem. But we did receive an email from the owners that their were technical issues and that they have now been resolved Please don’t be discouraged. Stuff happens, especially in a world of technology. Please try it again and if you have any problems, I’ll contact the owner and see if he can help you. Truly sorry you had the experience.

Hi Barbara, I have been playing around with it over the last 2 weeks and yet to see the traffic rise, but I am patient so no worries there.

Am disappointed again with the latest crash. Not so much that the crash happened (I know these things happen) but it has been a while now and the last I read from them was that the back-up restore only had data from a month ago. As a new user of this site I think you can appreciate my sceptism about the people running it. I’ll stick with it for now but I hope that the tech support is more professional. For a site on this scale the back ups should have data from 24 hours ago if not more recently.

        • says

I agree with you and I wrote a post on it. I won’t rehash the post here but I understand the frustration and appreciate you took another look at it because I recommended. But systems and people make mistakes. I’m not sure why there is such an issue with the servers, etc. It’s a large important system and you’re right, there should be some security, backups, etc. But they are keeping us updated and we don’t know all the details yet. Those who have had success are kinda just sitting back waiting for a ‘Go’ again. I understand the skepticism too. If you’re a patient person, cool…not to worry. We’ll be back in and working again soon. I believe it!

Thanks for trusting me. I appreciate that. And if for some reason this doesn’t work out, I will be the first to apologize. 🙂

Another really helpful post, Barbara – thank you very much.

You’ve convinced me I need to delve into Triberr a little more, but I think it would probably take me more time than the 15 minutes a day you suggest for checking your stream and sharing posts – doesn’t it take you a lot longer than that if you’re going to actually read posts before you share them? I don’t like sharing stuff unless I’ve checked it out properly first, to make sure it’s relevant to my readers.

I agree with your points about engaging with people meaningfully on Twitter – it’s a quick and easy way to connect with other bloggers.

      Hi Sue,
Thanks so much for your comment. I think I read on speed-dial! 🙂 Remember when they used to give speed-reading courses years ago (or maybe I’m just that old)! 🙂

You’re right it takes time to read a post and then share.

In other words, I was trying to impress upon the fact that we don’t have to spend all day reviewing, approving and sharing on Triberr in order for it to be effective. Sorry if that’s not clear.

In the beginning I did spend a lot of time on Triberr, but now I do 15 minutes, maybe 30 to share, thank, approve and keep it stepping. I think because I invested so much time in the beginning building up relationships with people who are no willing to share my blogs. I can do at least 2 blogs a day, but I usually do more. But I think people can easily get overwhelmed trying to do too much in the stream that’s why I talked about limiting their time.

      Hope that helps!

Hi Adil. Thanks. Triberr will work for you too. It’s takes a minute to get the hang of it, but it’s a great investment in time and it’s not as complicated as other apps we’ve used! The Triberr look has been upgraded and there are new features so even us who have been using it for a while have to get used to the new look and features.

To sign up go to http://www.triberr.com Click on Member Login in the upper right corner (yes even if you’re not a member). Your next screen will have three links to Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. I use Twitter, but you can do all 3 if you want. Click on Twitter and it will take you to the Twitter Authorization screen. If you are not a member, there is a ‘Don’t Have An Account?’ Join Now’ button. Click that to sign up.

You can sign up for all three or only one – that’s up to you. Hope this helps. Let me know.

      Hi Rachel,

I actually had to request some tribes more than once. Tribe leaders are busy as well. Don’t give up. Try some other tribes if you have too. I’ve wait as long as 2-3 weeks with some. There are a ton of tribes. If one doesn’t answer, try another. Also, Triberr is a free service which is limiting in that some tribes have ‘limitations.’ Maybe the tribes that you’re joining is a free tribe and have their total numbers. Just a thought. Try clicking on Bonfires/Looking for Tribes where people are actually searching for members to join their tribes.

Let me know how it goes. Good luck,
      Barbara

    Hello,

I have read and enjoyed this interesting post. I have already checked triberr and tried to familiarize with what’s going on there. The first thing you have to do after you choose a tribe is to follow it. This will not make you part of the tribe but you will have your chance to interact with the members of the tribe by approving or sharing. I have two questions.

    1. What to do when you are just a twitter beginner and you don’t have so many followers? Maybe to choose little tribes with people in the same boat as you. But what if you really like a tribe and know about some of the members but they are light years ahead of you in terms of followers? Will they ever accept you?
    2. I didn’t understand the concept of “approving” What’s the difference between “approving” and “sharing”. It seems that you can share posts but also blogs. What’s the difference between sharing a post and sharing a blog?
    3. I am really interesting in knowing more about how to use twitter.

Thanks for all this wonderful info.

Sorry for the delay. I have been ill and am just getting to your posts. I’d like to chat with you so that I can answer your questions. I will not be able to give all the answers here, but I’ll answer some.

I help people build their twitter followers. Joining tribes is just one way of doing so. You wonder about small tribes with large numbers of followers and will they follow you. The answer is yes, they will follow you even if you have limited followers: If you follow them; if you are consistent with your blogging/posting; if you show them consistency and offer good content, they will be there with you and follow you.

And it doesn’t take long. I check a number of things on each person. I check out their blog, I check their website, I check their articles for good content and I will follow someone who has these things.

A post is an article you write on your blog. Your blog is a Web site on which an individual or group of users record opinions, information, etc. on a regular basis. Your blog is made up for many posts or articles.

Hit me up on FB and we can chat either on Google + and talk about how to use twitter and I’ll share additional information on Triberr.
      Barbara
