Three Tips To Millionaire Mindset Thinking

Today a friend of mine had a major disappointment in her life. She posted a comment on FB regarding how she felt and how it had hurt her confidence and made her face her biggest fears in life, i.e., failure and rejection.

This is a problem most of us have – something we all face regularly.   Been there, done that – know it from first hand experience!

What she faced today made her immediately doubt herself and prompted me to write more on the topic of millionaire mindset.

So I want to talk about what are the crucial keys in working with a successful mindset!

One of the most crucial keys to success is working and maintaining that perspective throughout all areas of your life.

After all of the preparation and hard work that paves our path of success, living a millionaire mindset is the engine that propels dedicated people in all walks of life towards their goals.

This mindset means that you shift your focus away from the current outside circumstances of life and instead learn to concentrate on the factors of success that truly make a difference on your journey.

It involves letting go of limiting beliefs and ignoring the negative attitudes of the people who think that success is just a myth.

Once you have cultivated this special mindset, the clarity of your goals shines through the doubts and distractions of daily life, and the certainty that you will achieve your goals becomes absolutely clear.

The first step towards living a millionaire mindset is developing a strong desire to reach your goal.

Let me break it down for you. It’s creating a firm vision of exactly what you want to achieve and fostering the determination that you must realize your vision, even if you don’t know how it will happen.  Even when you fail in the process.  It’s just another part of the journey of life.

I’ve mentioned this before in my previous article, maybe a little differently, but people often hold themselves back from dreaming too big or asking for too much because they can’t imagine how their dreams will become reality.

The thing these people don’t understand is that no one knows exactly how the future will unfold or what your ‘learning experiences’ will be in the process.

Failure is sometimes a learning experience and we can’t get beat by it.  We can’t stop because of hurt and rejection.

Take your desire and hold on to it no matter what, because that desire is the lifeline that will pull you towards your destination through all of the inevitable challenges that lay ahead, particularly when running your own business.

When a strong desire awakens, backed by a determination to make your desire a reality, it is time to start focusing on the high-leverage success factors that are entirely in your control.

Any ambitious endeavor is guaranteed to involve hardship, so paying attention to the outside circumstances of your life is a poor measure of progress. The true measure of progress can only be seen by turning your attention inward.

Certainty and optimism are the real indicators of how likely you are to succeed. If you learn to nurture optimism and certainty then success is inevitable.

You will never be able to control what happens in the world around you, but you can always control what choices you make. Every skillful choice is a step along the path, but if your attitude turns negative, bad choices will follow and the goal gets further away.

One other thing I thought of the other day (to add to this) is that optimism and certainty cannot be simply willed into existence. They must be tended to carefully. Success comes to people who are willing to do everything necessary.

Some Tips To A Millionaire Mindset A.K.A. – Positive Lifestyle Thinking

  1. Surround yourself with positive input, and remove draining influences from your life.  I sometimes find this particularly hard to do, particularly when we have had some bad days.
  2. Continue reinforcing your optimism and certainty with affirmations, books, articles, videos, and most importantly, friends, like the people you develop relationships with here or others who support you.
  3. Seek out and search for others walking the same path as you. Protect yourself by avoiding relationships that create feelings of doubt and negativity.

Learning to live a millionaire mindset is a journey in itself. Keep striving and one day you will wake up to see that you’re not just thinking like a success, but thinking like a millionaire.

A Millionaire Mindset is about AIMING for success! It’s a positive mindset that makes for any type of success.

Go for it people!

Stay positive, stay blessed.

    Lovely post, Barbara!!

One of the greatest ideas I keep reminding myself is to have faith that the dream in my heart will blossom!

I actually took one of your ideas from your last post and have now set a reminder on my cell phone a few times a day to remind myself:
1 — To Smile more often!
2 – That I might not see where I’m going, but I have faith that I will get here.

I also have to remember the times where I did accomplish my hopes and dreams. Running the LA Marathon 3 times comes to mind! I had to believe that my body and mind were strong enough to not only train for 8 months, but also carry me across the finish line the day of the race. I realized from those races that in fact, the mind is a powerful thing! Most importantly, I learned that I couldn’t just up and run a marathon in a day, it took days, weeks, and months of training to get there. The same is true for building a business and having a millionaire mindset.

      Hi Jennifer.

Thanks so much. Glad one of my ideas helped. It really does work to remind ourselves daily (sometimes multiple times a day) in our dreams and what we want to accomplish. I remember everyone used to say ‘do affirmations’ daily The problem with that for me was reminders. Life gets so crazy busy you forget. So thank God for the iPhone. 🙂

It is critical, as far, as I’m concerned to remind ourselves of our accomplishments. I think I’ve written a couple of articles. We have to ‘see’ our successes otherwise, we forget sometimes again usually because life gets in the way. Too much stuff and we feel overwhelmed by life. But you’re right – it is how powerful is our belief in what we are trying to accomplish. Congrats on running that Marathon, 3 times no less! You have a powerful mind and drive. But the most important thing you mentioned is that it takes training to get there, but not just training for business, but of the mind. Awesome thoughts and important for everyone to know.

Getting that millionaire mindset in line with the drive and determine we maintain will help us reach our success.
      God bless,

    Hey Barbara,

I think we’ve all been there at some point and time. I’ve had a little bump in my road too as you very well know but I wasn’t focused on not reaching success, I was just questioning whether or not I’m on the right road.

I think when life throws us curve balls for the most part I handle them pretty well. I acknowledge them, I deal with them and I move on. I don’t let things worry me a lot, not anymore. It’s those time that things keep being thrown at you, kind of like you’re in a game of paint ball and everyone has decided to make you their target and it’s 24/7 for some unknown darn reason. Yikes!

I think at times it’s hard to stay focused but if you believe in your gut that this is where you belong then you’ll move through it. I like to think most people will. If not, they’ll have you to remind them. 🙂

Thanks for the reassurance though. Always good to have.

      Hi Adrienne,

Couldn’t have said it better. We have all been there and I think as I’ve gotten older, I’ve also learned to handle things better, at least on the outside. Sometimes my pressure tells me that I’m not handling it as well as I thought. 🙂 You picked the perfect analogy about us becoming the target in a paintball game. Love that! Felt like that many times. LOL!

So we must keep our millionaire mindset – that mindset is the goal. Not the ‘millions’ although it is an end result. I do believe I’ll get there and I think the people I surround myself with feel the same. Like minds gravitate to each other and that energy and mindset helps us all succeed.

My pleasure. We need to just send love to our support team members at all times. Sending love!

    Hi Barbara,

Great advice! It all starts with our mindset. And if our mindset is full of low self esteem, self worth or even worse…negative, we will only attract the same wave of others. However, it can be changed!

Your tips are great. Firstly we need to surround ourselves with positive people. It reinforces that positive feeling inside us. Actually, it was difficult to do, but I needed to cut off all those negative thinking people around me..mostly family members. But hey, I cannot pick up their drama nor can I have that negativity around me. It is so difficult when it comes to family, but it just had to be done.

Encouraging ourselves with affirmations, books and so on is another great tip! If you cannot find positive people immediately, books can be your best friend. I remember doing that years ago when I was stuck in a terrible marriage with my ex. It saved me!

As for tip 3…Absolutely girl! We need to set boundaries with negative people around us. And we do need to make that effort to search for more positive people.

    Well done!

    Hi Barbara,

For sure, there is no millionaire without the mindset. The mindset needs to be here first and then money will come.

I’ve seen that happen under my very eyes. There is a shift in the person’s mindset and then money starts to come. There is a shift in my own mindset right now, and I see things taking shape indeed.

At times it takes a while, because we still have blocks that prevent things to flow, just like a clog will prevent water going down the sink drain properly, but once that clog is gone, it can finally flow.

What’s needed is a positive attitude, a firm belief, and take action. I hope your friend will not dwell on this and get back up fast.

      Hi Sylviane,

I love that ‘there is no millionaire without the mindset.’ Niiicccce! We can’t have one without the other true.

It is so true what you say about blocks and preventing the flow or success to stream through. I myself have seen ebbs and flows and we have to unblock it.

I’m hoping she read the article as well. Hopefully, I was encouraging enough and it got through but sometimes it’s hard when you’re in that ‘bad’ place. But I think she’ll do all right. We are all good at getting back up and dusting ourselves off.

Thanks for the support I’ll pass on your words and your inspiration.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I went through a lot of emotions. One of the things that gave me strength was my business and being successful. It is so important to have a mindset that you are going to succeed. I stay away from negative people as they are toxic. My business is doing well and I am ready to take it to the next level. On bye the way the good news is that I am cancer free for 6 years. Life is what you make it.

  6. says

    Hey Barbara,

I do have to say that I’m around negative people and I do have to distance myself from them and go to myself so I can focus. They’re negative towards what I’m doing, but other than that they are good people.

But definitely you should focus inward and keep yourself aligned towards your goals. I really resonate with the tips you have here. I’m always seeking out people walking the same path I am, which are mainly bloggers like yourself. Also I’ve been reading books and watching a lot of videos on mindset, meditation, personal development.

Doing these things will keep you focus and confident in yourself! I think I raised the bar a couple of time as far as this! Thanks for sharing Barbara and you have a great weekend!

    Hey Barbara,

Great read, I think the most important one is to bring in the positive people and purge out the bad ones – but it can also be the hardest! It feels hard to meet people, and it feels hard to lose people but the greatest shifts that have occurred in my life have come from people!

    AWESOME tips!

      Hi Zach.

Very wise young man! 🙂 It is always hard to purge the bad particularly when you’ve had relationships built up over the years. Finding positive influences and people is even harder, but it is necessary and required in order for us to maintain our mindset and grow in life and in business.

      Thanks for your support.
      Have a good week,

    Hi Barbara

Probably the hardest thing to do is keep being positive when your lofty dreams don’t even match up to your here and now circumstances. But if we look back we can see mistakes we made and how far we have progressed since then.

Staying away from negative people and negative input is highly important. We really need to work at programming our minds for success and believe we deserve it. We do not have to remain in the idea of lacking or we will always be lacking.

We have to believe anything is possible and if anyone can achieve it, it is us!
