I’ve been offline a couple of weeks trying to make a determination about my blog. About a year ago, I made a major change, which I love, but I didn’t quite know how to do everything I wanted to do on one blog.
I created additional blogs with new domains for all of my interests. The challenge was managing 3 or 4 blogs when managing one blog is hard enough. Don’t you agree? We all want to ‘fit it all in!’
You see, I was steered toward blogging when I came online.
I was also steered toward ‘coaching’ other people ‘how to blog’ online.
The problem was, I didn’t know what I was doing, but true to learning this experience, I started blogging.
So What Did I Want To Do?
I came online to help people, but help in a different industry. I came online to help people get healthy. My real niche is health and wellness.
But it’s been a struggle to get from my blog (here, writing about blogging) to my other blogs helping others with health and wellness. One difficulty was I had traffic (here), but not there and neither of the other blogs were successful.
I watched a number of others with multiple blogs struggle with the same dilemma. How in the world can you shuffle multiple blogs/websites and be successful?
Most people said – Create one blog and write about everything.
So What To Do With This Problem
Well, I think I’ve got it solved. I visited a number of sites of some pretty prevalent bloggers out there and guess what? The majority seem to write about what? Everything? And their Niche, which could be coaching, cooking, social media, technology, or coaching or whatever.
As a busy working woman, I’ve decided to consolidate and add a new All About Health category to my current and functioning blog and help others with health which is my true calling.
You see, I really do love blogging about what I learn and I love teaching others and I love helping people get healthy and well.
Now, with all that said…will it work…combining all that I want to do in one place? I’ve seen it work and nothing beats a failure but a try! Isn’t that right?
So click on the All About Health link to find interesting stories about health, many based on my own experiences, like diabetes, arthritis, weight loss, manopause (yep, I spelled it right :).
With this new category, I promise I’ll keep things interesting and share my experiences and stories with you, and many unique and simple solutions to every day health issues (I ain’t afraid to try nuthin’) 🙂
So come back often and take a look at what we have. Looking forward to seeing you.
